OUR YIN YOGA PRACICE // THURSDAYS 7.30pm (AEST)

IS YOUR BODY SORE OR STIFF? IS YOUR ORGAN FUNCTION SLUGGISH? DO YOU NEED TO RELEASE EMOTIONS?

The human being is made up of 72,000 energy channels that move electricity around the body. These channels can become kinked from a repetitive habit. When they become kinked the electricity can not move freely. This results in pent up emotion that clog up your organs, tightness in your joints and feelings of exhaustion. To smooth out the kinks, you need to release the connective tissue in your body.

Yin Yoga is an intelligent practice to ‘stretch’ the connective tissue/ fascia in your body. By doing this you will help move stuck energy (e-motion) that may be held in the organs. You can also liberate emotions as you release the kinks from your energy channels and chakra system.

BODY // Feel more open and supple, release stiffness in your joints.
BODY // Bring health to your organs and improve their function. 

This is a very slow and at times, a still practice, that targets the connective tissue. It is what most people need these days; to give ourselves enough time to be with what we are feeling and to slow down.

Train yourself to go slower, we want to move at 70% compared to the usual 110%!

These are good examples of living in your head and this is not what the brain is supposed to be used for. If you do overthink and doubt yourself, you will end up exhausted or chronically anxious. You must use your energy with purpose, think of it like it’s currency $$.

When you learn to put your attention towards what feels right, you will always move towards what aligns with your values and what is important to you. What is important to you, is not always what your best friend values, so you must stay in your own lane.

The Three Star Meditation technique trains your attention to be at your centre (the belly), the place in which you access ‘home’, grounding, wisdom, trust and right direction.
